1. The art of persuasion - Bob Burg
The art of persuasion is a must-read and especially for those who want to pitch something as a valuable offer. The first thought of reading this book came into my mind when I was working for my first company(I still am). I got the opportunity to witness a Solution expert pitching an idea to the Business peoples. The Business people had found some issues with one of the functionality, and the Solution expert was needed to make them understand why the design failed in the first place and how the solution can be implemented in a fast and structural way without affecting the already existing one. Business people are rarely interested in logic, they are more concerned about the impact the solution would have and the time boundaries. Also, if they don't find the idea feasible, they would discard it in the very first place even without listening to the whole theory design proposal. So, it's the job of the Solution Architect to present the design in such a way that the Business buys into it without a second thought. That is simply persuading them into buying your conviction. Great leaders and salespeople are perfect examples of this. That's why it's a huge responsibility, and the person needs to be able to do enough to pursue the people into liking their products and why they should buy it in the first place. This is how big Business lands strategic deals. The company might have a great product, but if they don't have people who can persuade people into buying their product, the product is useless. "People rarely buy the product, they buy the conviction"|. I listened to the speech of our solution architect and found the speech to be very engaging (our architect was amazing). He managed to lay a crisp and sound presentation to the business which was admired(claps followed by). Of course, some counter questions do follow, and this is where the persuasion is stretched. If the Business people get a clear insight into their queries, it is more likely that they are gonna buy into your product.
So, now you can see how much of an important trait this is and if you can learn this, you are bound to be successful, not only in business life but personal life as well. The art of persuasion can be applied to any field and would help you everywhere in your life. To shape these qualities, and many more, I would recommend you to read this book.

2. Atomic Habits - James Clear
Atomic Habits by James Clear is a gem of a book. If you have been struggling to set up a routine, or are not able to consistently follow, then this book is a must for you. As it is said, 'Habits maketh a man', and you must develop them in order to live a successful and happy life. This book can change your perspective completely and would give you a completely new way to look at your life. Learn habits bound to make you successful in life, unlearn all those that do not. Start with small things, consistently, and keep doing those small things until you make them great. Eg - Start by writing one article per week, and in a year, you will have a massive improvement in the way you write and express ideas. The key takeaway for me from this book was that we, as a society today live in an age of constant gratification. What we want is readily available, and this has stopped us from making any efforts. If you want to be successful, you have to do the work constantly, and get better at it until you make it big. Instant gratification will only keep you in your comfort zone, and in the comfort zone, only weeds grow. This book will not help you build habits, it will give you compelling reasons as to why you should have habits in the first place and how to stick to them over the course.

3. Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert T. Kiyosaki
Rich Dad, Poor Dad is a masterclass by Robert T. Kiyosaki and is one of the best books I read while I was in college. Financial Independence is something everyone wants, but not everyone is able to achieve it. This book helped me breach the myths that I was holding in my head, and gave me a completely different perspective as to how money works. The Government doesn't care about you, and if you don't know how to manage your taxes, it will continue to lick your hard-earned money, That is why the middle man never gets to become rich or attain financial independence. This was the book where I first learned the term assets and commodities and why they are important in life, Why renting a house is more useful than buying one, and how you can prosper and become rich. This book is a must-read for every young people, so you can invest, increase your assets, reduce your liabilities, and live life by achieving financial independence. A must-read for all the young peoples out there. Highly recommended.

4. 12 Rules for life - Jordan.B.Peterson
I got fascinated by Jordan.B.Peterson very early when I got to listen to one of his youtube lecture videos by chance when surfing through youtube. After listening to that video, I was left bewildered, and amazed. Jordan Peterson has jaw-dropping knowledge and is very fluent in his speeches and foretelling ideas. I have listened to many episodes of the Professor online, and it's a great way to learn about life and its hardship, which you are inevitably going to face. Dr. Peterson tells about some raw truth and what you should do in order to grow through them. When I got to know that Professor was writing a book, I was eagerly waiting for it to come so that I could read. The Professor book revolves around some basic rules which you should know about. Reading this book is like gaining knowledge from someone who has passed years of wisdom in a concentrated manner. This book is about life, all its emotion, whether joy and distress, chaos and order, and how to live a life?
I would like to write a famous line from the book which I find very meaningful -
God says something akin to this: " Man, because you attended to the woman, your eyes have been opened. Your godlike vision, granted to you by snake, fruit, and lover, allows you to see far, even into the future. But those who see into the future can also eternally see trouble coming, and must then prepare for all contingencies and possibilities. To do that, you will have to eternally sacrifice the present for the future. You must put aside pleasure for security. In short: you will have to work. And it's going to be difficult. I hope you're fond of thorns and thistles because you're going to grow a lot of them."
