Losing weight is probably one of the most daunting tasks that many of the Millenials face today. And it's no surprise that despite the fact that such a plethora of information exists on the internet, most of the individuals usually struggle to lose weight, either because they choose a very strict diet which they were not able to sustain for a long period of time or they choose to do very high-intensity workouts in the beginning only, leading to fatigue and muscle pain, which eventually results in quitting their dream to lose weight.
The two most important things you should put in your psyche is that Consistency on the longer horizon beats intensity and discipline beats motivation(emotion for a defined period). If you are consistent with your diets and workouts, there is zero possibility of you not losing weight. Most of the Millennials are not patient enough to follow their recommended diet, let alone do the workout.
The lockdown for me was a period of transition as I lost nearly 8 kgs of weight. Prior to lockdown, I weighed around 82 KGs, and currently, I am at 72 kgs. Since the gyms were all closed during the lockdown, I had no option but to focus on the bodyweight exercises for my workout session. I tried nearly 15 exercises but out of all the following, I found the following most effective as I was able to hit nearly all of my body parts. Your main focus when trying to do workouts should be to hit as many body parts as you can possibly target. Doing a full-body workout will help you lower your body fat and help you get in proper shape fast rather than targeting single body parts.
Push-ups and pull Ups
The most common exercise and the most avoided one. People generally think that a mere 20 pushups and 20 pullups repeated for 3 sets is time waste and does not contribute to anything. They are wrong. Push-ups and pull Ups are considered to be compound exercises and are considered to be best when you can't attend a gym or do exercise. The Push-ups and pull Ups involve the 2 big muscles of your body, the chest, and Back, and is considered to be very effective as it hits simultaneously our core muscles, biceps, shoulders, and triceps along with chest and Back. This is considered to be one of the most effective body workouts for the Upper body and there is no reason as to why you shouldn't be doing this and including in your home workout. If you are training or going to the gym also, then also, Push-ups and pull Ups are meant to be the most effective in warmup and giving our muscles the necessary blood flow.
Highly recommended exercise !!
if you are struggling with pullups or do not have equipment at home to perform pull-ups, I highly recommend buying the Pull-up bar which I bought for myself. It has helped me tremendously and with the help of it, I have been able to increase my no of pullups.

1. Squats
Squats are one of my favorite exercises and I find it to be the best as It helps me hit almost all of my body parts. Squats help you in building strong legs, glutes along with core and back muscles. Very Effective for a full-body workout.
You can perform 10 reps for 3 rounds if you are a beginner. I personally do 50 reps for 3 rounds.

2. Burpees
Burpees are a HIIT exercise and are considered to be very effective as all the body parts are involved. They are a quick way to lose some of the calories for a day as it involves a lot of strength and stamina. Begin with a few and as you get better, aim for more.
Don't overdo. as it can cause a lot of fatigue.

3. Skipping
Another high-intensity body workout which can be used for an ideal workout. Skipping involves your glutes, shoulders, and core and is a very effective way to lose fat and weight if done daily for a month. Of course, your calorie intake for the day is equally important.
You can easily buy these best skipping ropes from Amazon at a cheap price.

4. Toe touch Plank ( include push up)
Toe touch Plank is my second favorite exercise after Squats. I do it on a regular basis as it is good for core, chest and stretches my legs. I also like to involve pushups in these, so that a more effective combo can be made. You can try the same for maximum benefits and results.
I generally do 20 (pushup included) sets for 3 Rounds.

5. Jogging/Walking/Running
This is a refreshing workout activity(walking) which I generally do if I wasn't able to work out for that day. It is a nice way to offload some calories and is not such an effort requiring workout( except for running). Running on a regular basis can help you lose fat, but overdoing it might lead to muscle loss also.

You can select any one of the above or mix all of them to keep yourself in good shape.
