The most awaited Indian TV show, Mirzapur Season 2, was finally released on 22 OCT, Thursday Night and fans have been going gaga over it, resulting in a meme fest that has started on social media. Season 2 brings also brings in a lot of new characters as part of the plot, and it makes the show much more engaging and alluring to watch.
The first few episodes of the Mirzapur revolves around creating a plot as Kaleen Bhaiya, and his son, Munna is given the responsibility to make UP, and Mirzapur a crime-free and safe place to live, as the ruling party image had suffered a blot due to the actions of Munna. It's now in hands of Kallen Bhaiya to protect his son from going to jail and his interests are politically aligned as well, as it would help him in getting better control of Mirzapur. The party wins the election, and Kallen Bhaiya gets a seat at the party as well. In the meantime, Munna also begins to have an intimate relationship with the daughter of CM, Madhuri Yadav, which eventually leads to the marriage of Munna, against the wishes of Munna Tripathi.
At the start, we also see the comeback of Sharad, Ratishankar Shukla's son, and his ambitious plan to take over Mirzapur. He eventually joins Munna and agrees to work under him as Jaunpur's head. He easily wins over Munna and is welcomed by Kaleen Bhaiya and starts working for them and begins helping Munna in capturing Guddu. Guddu and Munna, along with Sharad do have a faceoff, where it seems that either one of them would be dead, but surprisingly each one of them escapes with injuries.
The story develops slowly, with new faces settling down and the plot being stretched a bit, although engaging. The puns are often expressed in form of slurs, and Munna Bhaiya leaves no stones unturned. His delivery and expressions are laudable and deserve full appraisal. While all this was happening in Mirzapur, Guddu Pandit is still recovering from the physical and mental wounds that were inflicted upon him in the first season. Guddu is shown using crutches as he was shot in the knee and takes time to recover. In fact, he gets active mostly during the last few episodes and is obsessed with revenge. He also falls in love with Shabnam, the daughter of Lala, which Lala does not approve of. Golu, in the meantime, learns how to shoot using Rifles, and is made to look appear like a perfect Tomboy, who doesn't give a fuck about anything.

Dimpy is sent back to a college in Lucknow for further studies. The storyline and the cinematic views are appalling, mixed with a good sense of humor, that most often comes from Munna and his plight. Beena, the wife of Kaleen Bhaiya, gets pregnant and heads over to her Sasural for a few days as she is fed up with the Tripathi's and wants his son to be king of Mirzapur. Hence, she silently joins hands with Golu and Guddu and assists them by providing valuable information that opens up the path for the destruction of the arms factory and eventually leads to the culmination of the fight between Guddu and Munna.

Robin and Tyagi's are the new introduction in the plot and both are used by Golu to make their connections so that they are able to collect money and weapons. Robin falls in love with Dimpy, and Junior Tyagi falls for Golu. The Dadda is the king of Sivan, and Tyagi works for him as he is his son. Robin and Tyagi both delivers a decent performance, and their role is also limited. Madhuri also gives a decent performance as she has to cope with Munna and his tantrums, and plays the role of CM later. Maqbool and Babur also gave out their best, with eventually one of them getting eliminated.
Each individual of the story gives justice to its character, and especially the comic timing from Munna is quite commendable. His blunt answers, naive reaction to every situation makes the story fun to watch. Guddu and Golu, in seek of revenge, plan their moves and make their move forward, keeping the show engaging. After all, everyone wants to know who finally ascends the throne of Mirzapur. The story also has plots where it seems that the story might come to an end, but the subtle things make differences, and the plot changes entirely.
The only surprise that we let you in is that a Season 3 of Mirzapur can be expected as well. Now, it's the fan's reaction towards the show and their wishes that would eventually lead to makers of the show think about making a third season or not. They have some stones unturned, and might as well finish in the last and final season.
